The Heswall ICE Christmas Festival spreads beyond the four days of celebration and festivities. Events will take place in Heswall throughout December.

Advent at St. Peter’s Church

Advent is a special time for us to prepare our hearts to celebrate the birth of Jesus with joyful expectation. Join us in the sacred setting where for over 700 years people have come to worship the coming of Jesus and his Kingdom of love and grace.

Christingle Service

Thursday, 1st December, 2016 at 4.00 pm.

At the Good Shepherd

As part of the Heswall ICE – Christmas Festival we will be holding the Christingle.

As with the other events advertised our Christingle will be Interactive, Creative and Educational!

After the service there will be lots to do and see, including the Christmas Lights switch on, food stalls and crafts.

YF Christmas Fair

Saturday 3 Dec 10am-3pm

All proceeds to YF Uganda Mission 2017. Please share with your Facebook friends. We’ll be serving morning coffee, light lunches and afternoon tea with home-made cakes . There will be stalls selling home produced baking, cards, crafts, gifts and preserves and also games, side–shows and fun activities for children

Hurrah for Gin!

An evening with the author of Hurrah for Gin Katie Kirby! Hurrah for Gin, will be an “honest” illustrated account of life with young children and is for “imperfectly perfect parents”. Without any pretence to “useful advice”, its author, successful blogger and mum-of-two Katie Kirby, will regale readers with “tales from the parenting frontline” that embrace “the exciting, frustrating, infuriating and wonderful whirlwind of parenthood”. The book will be illustrated with Kirby’s own stick men drawings depicting “the reality of parenting”.
