Heswall is a town based on the Wirral, in the county of Merseyside. Found on the A540, Heswall is situated on the eastern side of the Dee Estuary. The town is about a 20 minute drive from the city of Chester and roughly 30 minutes from Liverpool, with good transport routes also linking it to North Wales. Travelling to Heswall is easy, and our directions can help you to visit by train, bus and car.
Heswall has a bus station situated right in the centre of town, with various operators providing bus services to and from throughout the week. Heswall Train Station is located on the eastern edge of the town on Brimstage Road. It has hourly services Monday – Saturday between Bidston on the Wirral and Wrexham in North Wales, with a more irregular service on Sundays.
Heswall is very accessible via car. The town is located on the A540 and is also a short drive away from the M53. Car parking space is available throughout at Heswall, including next to Puddydale Park, behind Heswall Hall and by the Johnny Pye pub. Limited Parking available during the festival.
Just in case Santa would like to pay us a visit (we think he will!) we’re sure we can find a spot for his sleigh and reindeers to park up. Elves are welcome to keep the presents well guarded.
